    They hooked us up with some next level mocktails and a mix of fresh vegetarian dishes plus a few classic favourites. The food was crispy and fresh holding up perfectly for our food pics and every last bite after.

    The food was delicious. We ordered vegetarian pizza, loaded fries, nachos, and tacos.
    The quality of every item was top notch. The pizza was great. I really liked the loaded fries, and the fish tacos were well done.

    The only suggestion I’d have is to consider adding halal options if the business model allows. Otherwise, excellent food.”**

    1. What was the “aha” moment that made you two decide to actually launch this product?

    Our breakthrough moment came during a casual conversation about my great-grandmother’s vintage jar — the same one we still use today to store our dishwasher pods! Realizing this beautiful container survived two world wars and is still going strong made us stop and think: every bottle we casually toss might outlast us by generations, potentially causing harm for decades to come.

    That’s when Abelin was born — as our way to reclaim those bottles from becoming waste, by giving them multiple lives, just like that jar. ✨

    We’ll be honest — the journey hasn’t been easy! Between juggling day jobs and battling perfectionism (hello, imposter syndrome!), we’ve launched, relaunched, and refined our vision more than once. But that’s exactly why we’re so passionate now — we’re finally ready to share this labour of love with the world, imperfections and all.

    2. What inspired the name Abelin?

    Abelin is our love letter to the two incredible women who raised us.

    Abe comes from Abeke — Yinka’s mom’s name (and now our daughter’s first name, too!).

    These powerhouse women always pushed us to reach higher, to believe in ourselves, and to never settle. Naming our brand after them felt like the most natural way to honour their legacy while building something rooted in their values: excellence, care, and positive impact.

    And our four-year-old daughter? She’s obsessed with skincare. Honestly, she has the soul of a twenty-year-old beauty lover. We’re already dreaming of creating signature products for them one day. How amazing would that be? 💕

    7. What’s a random, personal habit that inspired how you made or use this product?

    Honestly? Pure laziness. 😅

    Making skincare from scratch is time-consuming, so we started pre-making concentrated bases and just adding water for refills. One day we thought — why not offer that same ease to others?

    And that’s how our skincare concentrates were born. Sometimes the best ideas come from finding smarter—not harder—ways to do things.

    When we first looked at this brand, we noticed a consistent aesthetic throughout their feed—darker backgrounds that naturally create depth and contrast, giving each post a moody yet sophisticated feel. We saw that the brand leans into a distinctly feminine look but pairs it with masculine colour tones like dark greys, charcoals, and muted hues. This combination stands out beautifully, adding both strength and softness to the overall vibe.

    We also observed how they make their subjects pop—the main focus is always bright, well-lit, and crisp, yet never overly edited or artificial. It feels polished but not overdone, maintaining a natural elegance that’s key to their brand identity.
